According to a recent article on eHow.com titled "How to Skateboard for Girls" by Steven Townsend, in the early years of skateboarding it was very rare to see girls on a board. In today's age of internet, video games and the x games, skateboarding has become more than something recreational. It's become a worldwide phenomenon with girls becoming more of a presence on the skateboarding scene. There are a few companies taking notice of the growing female participation in the popular sport of skateboarding. Her name is Ally (AKA) "Lil Skate Chick" from Louisiana. Steve describes her as talented and fearless. You will definitely be seeing and hearing more about her in the years to come, she is a fearless skateboarder who's talent runs though family bloodlines. Her mom used to skateboard in her younger years and is a great supporter of her daughters talents as a freestyle skateboarder.
